Generous support from within the community is making this project possible.

It has long been a hope of mine that something could be done to improve, not only the appearance of the pavilion but also its usage for the benefit of the whole village.   In more recent months this has become more pressing and the obvious lack of care of the existing structure, more apparent.  It also seemed a shame that the building has been so underutilised outside of the cricket related activities.

Having approached a few friends in the village, it soon became clear that I was not alone in my concerns.  Consequently, John and I have committed £200,000 to the project to get the ball rolling and we have since received many further fantastically generous commitments to donate.

The overwhelming support generated at our public meeting held at the end of November, was truly heartening and I am really delighted that so many people are behind the project and willing to help in so many different ways.

This website has been created to allow you to stay informed and engaged with the project, which I very much hope you will do.

Thank you for getting behind this collective endeavour.

Best wishes,

Jane Hepburn.
