Accessibility Standards

The Thursley Pavilion Project is committed to making its website as accessible and usable as possible for everyone. We want as many people as possible to be able to access information about the project easily and without barriers.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to make this website accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, where reasonably practicable for a small, volunteer-run project.

What We’ve Done

This website has been built using WordPress, which supports many accessibility features. We have taken steps to ensure that users can:

  • Navigate the website using a keyboard

  • Zoom in up to 200% without affecting readability

  • Read content with good colour contrast

  • Use screen readers to access most content

We also aim to write content in clear, plain English.

Known Limitations

As a small community project, we recognise that some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. These may include:

  • Some images that do not yet have descriptive alternative text

  • Older documents or PDFs that may not be fully accessible

We are working to improve these areas over time.

Feedback and Alternative Formats

If you have any difficulty accessing this website, or if you need information in an alternative format (such as large print or plain text), please contact us:

Email: thursleypavilion@gmail.com

We will do our best to respond promptly and help where we can.

Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice and support on accessibility and equality issues.
